About Asia Game Ratings
Asia Game Ratings publishes official game rating and licensing records from South Korea, China and Taiwan in English. The original lists are published by government bodies in Korean or Chinese; this site translates the fixed vocabularies (ratings, genres, platforms), keeps the original titles and company names, and adds monthly statistics.
Who it is for
- Game publishers and localisation teams checking whether a title is rated or licensed in a market.
- Analysts and journalists following China's game license (版号) batches and Korean rating activity.
- Anyone who needs the original record behind a rating, with its official number.
What it does not do
- It is not legal or regulatory advice. Always confirm a game's status with the official body before relying on it.
- It does not claim that a game missing from a list is unrated or unlicensed: titles are often registered under a different name.
- It does not publish personal data (see Privacy).
Independent site
Asia Game Ratings is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any rating body, licensing authority or government.
